GameZone reveals their Game of the Year Awards for 2009. They reveal their picks for each platform today and tomorrow will reveal the special awards along with the overall GOTY.

"2009 saw Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's record breaking launch, the return of Nathan Drake in Uncharted 2, new, groundbreaking experiences and traditional classics for the whole family. 2009 was a huge year for any type of gamer, no matter how you slice it.

So it is without further ado that GameZone presents our 2009 Game of the Year Awards. We took a look at the best and the brightest that this year had to offer, wracked our brains together in a rigorous voting process, and now we present to you our results. "

    I loved Dragon Age: Origins. 2010 looks to be even better with more RPGs releasing.

      Agreed, looks like FPS's might be taking a back seat next year, 'bout time.

    I am amazed at some of the winners, and def agree with them. This year it was a tough call between several of the games. The PS3 really did shine this year i think. Next year it will be a real toss up with some of the AAA titles being released and the new motion controls as well....
