Some games skip under the radar despite being awesome in one way or another. There are various reasons for that, such as poor marketing strategies or limited budget. Games featured in this article are prime example.

Every gaming season there are dozens of games vying for attention. Some are destined to be blockbusters; some are destined to be flops; still others are destined to be forgotten. Because of competing titles, poor marketing strategies, or limited budgets, several games with the potential to become the next best thing are just lost through the cracks. It’s a sad thing when a carbon copy Madden game can outsell a great and innovative title like Mirror’s Edge but it’s a fact of life.

The gameplay of Blood on the Sand isn't bad at all. The story is way far fetched but still not as bad as it could've been. The game is a lot of fun for a rental. Of course you'd need to be into tps duck/cover games also.

Viking is a really good game.

Gets a bit repetitive though. Its like Assassins creed in that respect.

Indigo Prophecy was the shit, although the massive amount of QTEs got really old really fast. im hoping Heavy Rain wont be littered with them like Indigo during some levels. but yeah besides that, Indigo was just awesome.

Heavy Rain will be littered with them. Though Quantic Dream learned that they needed more variation in button presses and movements that are more intune with what you are doing. E.g. being told to put your hands up would be "R2 and L2" and you'd hold them while doing other things with the face buttons. It's far more indepth than in Indigo Prophecy that for the most part was just matching up the directions on the d-pad.

oh i see. well if it actually makes sense like that, then thats not so bad. the matching up directions thing with the 2 analog sticks was just really dumb and got boring, but if there's a lot of variety with the buttons you press then it will be more tolerable.

I own 50 Cent Blood on the Sand.I think the only reason I didn't play it was because Jaoan are the only ones who have trophies for the game and I played beter games that had trophies.

I would have put Beyond Good and Evil and Freedom Fighters on that list.

BG&E though had a rise in popularity at one point though and sold a bit more and probably goes for a high price on ebay.
