That game was the best. No question.
*readys can of Troll spray for carouselambra to appear*
Considering it won a VGA award, it's definitely something I'll be checking out.
<3.
THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
Fat Princess was a big disappointment though. The online gets laggy, and sometimes doesn't even let you join a match. Plus, matches can go on forever.
what the hell is bromantic man thats' a new one. that sounds pretty gay too dude if you ask me
nah only joking dude, im pretty sure everyone missed carouselambra. The snipers did at least
also, as a sidenote, just a minor observation here
maybe I'm being paranoid, but from the look of these, it seems this is fast becoming a "let's try and wind up carouselambra with la-di-da flower is a wonderful and expressive piece of modern artwork now let's all sip mocka chocka lattes with our pinky finger raised" comments. If not then my apologies, but if so, not to open up the can of worms again; but allow me to clarify here - the point I was making so many months ago, wasnt that I hate this game. The point was, it doesnt interest me. And the reason for that is, is that if you enjoy a game like that, there's about a million more things that you'll find more fulfilling and enjoyable, most notably, going out and actually looking at some wildlife. I've got nothing against anyone playing it, that's none of my business, if you wanna play it, play it, if you dont, dont; same as anything, drink, drugs, whatever, at the end of the day it's up to you, until you involve anyone else. It's just my observation that it's not a very good game. It's an imitation of life; all games are anyway to some extent, but with something like that, it seems to feed into this whole trend of "plug into your game system and forget the world", and I dont think that's healthy. Especially when the world has so much to offer. Games are just that; they're games. Play em, thats what they're for. They're an addition to your life, but if you were to sit in playing games all the time, you would waste that life - anything you do in there, you can do OUT there, to greater extent. And that's arguably one of the reasons why the world's in the state it is. That's why I share these comments, it's some intelligent discussion; we're all human, we all share this planet why not look out for each other? as I said, at the end of the day, it's up to you what you do, but just be aware that a game is only a game. That doesnt neccessarily have to make it any less enjoyable; it'll only make it less enjoyable if you were using it as an escape in the first place and there is actually nothing in it to enjoy, to which I say, dont escape, know your self and deal with things. Whats the worst that could happen, die? That'll happen eventually anyway. You're gonna be flower food yourself one day anyway man. Better to live first is it not?
I'm not trying to depress anyone here, or take their joy away or get them down or anything like that. Do what you want; all I'm posing to you, is the idea, that a game, no matter how compelling the storyline, no matter how in-depth the graphics, no matter how satisfactory the controls, will always be incomplete to some extent. And this game from what I've seen, doesnt even have half of those things. If you disagree, fine, no worries keep doing what you do. But if you agree, and you're looking for a way how to solve that, what I'm saying here is put down your controller and go look for some challenges and achievements and mighty things to do, out there, the great outdoors. Look at how much there is to do; climb a mountain, hit the bottom of the oceans, hit the top of the skies, make space flight a reality, discover new lands, new worlds, new life, conquer new landscapes, solve the flaws in any and all major political system, bring people together, make some discovery, make some achievement, fix everything or burn it all down and build it from afresh if neccessary; do some good, man; progress yourself, progress your race. Could be something small, could be something great. That's all I say. There's no limit to what you can do, the only limit is in your mind. All you need is the will to do it, and then the power to put it into action. Power is progressive, that's something that grows, something you acquire. But your will, your mind, that's something everlasting, no-one can touch that, no-one can control that, that's with you always; if you win, if you fail, whatever happens, life is a learning curve - use that, grow from it, live man.
And I dunno what the hell critter crunch is, I couldnt give you an informed opinion on that one man.
hello good sir. You seem to have included my quote in there.
To clarify, it was not aimed at you, it was based on my own opinion that those games ARE indeed awesome.
