Top 10 Games Of The Past Decade You Probably Didn't Play

Not counting Metal Gear Solid 4 which is on the list (and everybody played), here are Andrew Monkelban of popten.net's top 10 games of the past decade you probably didn't play...

It’s already been a decade... Hard to believe. I’ve played so many games over the years, some of which I forgot, that this list was hard to come up with. (And before anyone brings them up, no I have not played Ico or Shadow of the Colossus. Yes, both most likely should be in the top 5, but I’ve not played them, so...)

    Damn, I was really hoping I would have played at least one of those games. I've been planning on getting Demon's Souls for weeks now, but my money problems are growing out of hand unfortunately.

    I haven't ever heard of half those games, let alone played them. Few of them look to be fairly interesting though. Definitely something I should look into.

        I've seen so many reviews on Okami, but I just never bothered to pick it up. I think it's because my PS2 was pretty much done by that time, and then once I got the PS3, it never really occurred to me to continuing buying last gen games.

        Silly on my part, especially considering PS3 is lacking in the RPG department, but still.

    Played through Okami, MGS4, and Zone of the Enders thoroughly. The rest I've never really picked up on.

    I need an explanation to why MGS4 is there. It got Platinum; Meaning it sold over 1,000,000 copies.

    Other then Okami, Demon Souls and MGS4, I've never even heard of any of these games. But Okami is by far the best on the list. I played the shit out of that game

      Actually platinum only requires 500,000 sales.It was back when the PS1 was out (not sure about PS2) that games had to sell 1,000,000 copies.Well in Aus anyway.

    Lotsa Atlus stuff here. I know they're a niche developer but I though P3 and P4 sold really well?

    bujingai. bought it. loved it. still have it (somewhere). it's like DMC++.

    there were some interviews with gackt in the game, where they would ask him simple questions, and he'd give these long-winded, borderline irrelevant answers, too. @_@

      Is it seriously as good (or better) as DMC? I considered buying it because of GACKT....but that's pretty much the only reason it interested me. Some say it's better than DMC, some say it's worse.

      Saw the interviews on youtube. They made me lol so hard. The question about martial arts had him talking for almost five freakin' minutes.

    I've played about half of them. I tried to play Nocturne but it wouldn't play on my PS3 (not an uncommon problem it seems).

    I'm not much into Mecha so I'm not to bummed about ZOE.

    Okami and Demon's Souls are the only two I really want to play that I haven't.

    People do need to pick up Persona though, either one. Great games. I love them.

      I usually hate Mecha stuff (I will RARELY watch Anime with Mecha) but I hired ZOE mostly for the MGS2 demo (which didn't even come with the game) and I actually thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Never played MGS4 or Okami or... Anything on that list to be quite honest. Okami never really appealed to me. I'm into senseless violence so painting wolves isn't my thing.

    Played everything on that list aside from Zone of the Enders, Nocturne(wanted to but it's impossible to find) and Robot Taisen.

    Lots of Atlus in there.

      I don't think you can really judge that considering you haven't played the game. You'd be surprised at Okami's storyline and action.

        You haven't actually gotten into the game. Like with me, I used to think Oblivion was shit, until i started playing it more. Now i actually own the game and have created 5 different characters to play as

    I've seen a friend play it. It seemed alright but not something I would consider buying or even renting. Sorry not my kind of thing man.
