Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
11 hours 38 mins ago
Many of the games on this list look promising, but whether it's due to poor marketing or bad timing, they'll likely also rake in low sales upon release.
Go to the source for gamesradar.com's list of games that are doomed to fail in 2010...
With the possible exception of unexplainable, extraordinary inspiration, the factors which define a game’s quality are roughly quantifiable. The success of a game, however, involves slightly more chance, as the variables are less precise. When is the best time to launch a new PS3 exclusive FPS? Is there a market for fighting games on the Wii? The Western audience likes Final Fantasy – shouldn’t it like other Japanese RPGs? These answers can be approximated with figures and graphs and surveys and other things you’d find on boring people’s desks, but regardless, there’s not always a definable reason why one game succeeds and another flops.
We don’t claim to be psychics (well, actually, we probably have claimed that a few times), but these are the games of 2010 that, based on precedents set by the last few years and what we know about the market, we don’t expect to flood any coffers. We hope we’re proven wrong.

Poor Resonance of Fate, though, same day as FFXIII? That's insane. xD I'm pretty sure Dante's Inferno will do well.
If I could play Crysis 2 I would still pick up Quantum theory as I like 3rdPS's better than FPS's and am sick and tired of FPS's.Plus I love the idea of your cover having a mind of it's own and pissing off and leaving you open to attack.
If I had a 360 I would pick Red Dead Redemption over Crackdown 2 because it's a sanbox western which practically automatically makes it more interesting than Crackdown 2 to me.
Admittedly Daweii is completely wrong about the quality of Crackdown 2,(
Red Dead Redemption looks extremely good from all the previews i've been seeing.
Plus i don't care for the Final Fantasy franchise anyway
Turn based combat isn't my thing, which is why i actually liked FF12.
TvC will fail because it is on the Wii. Like most third party games on the Wii that end up being extremely underrated. It's quite sad. I own the Japan-release of TvC and I love the heck out of it, sucks that 90% of the Wii's gamers waste their money on crap Nintendo constantly dishes out.

you can't even deny that if it were on the 360/PS3 it would do so much better. Oh well, if and when it fails, Capcom will FINALLY realize they need to stop putting so much effort into Nintendo's hands.
If it's any good, i'll probably buy that alongside FFXIII anyway.
Also, Quantum Theory won't fail because of Crysis 2, it'll fail because it's going to be terrible =/
And with Rockstars track record since GTA IV, I don't have any high expectations for Red Dead Redemption, seeing as GTA IV was absolutely awful. I'll stick to Crackdown 2 and wait till RDR is down in price.
