Choosing the best games of a decade is a tricky thing. It's tempting to simply pick your favorite games, but that's not considering the question deeply enough. The following titles were picked for the Top Ten Games of the Decade based on quality, innovation, and cultural influence. All ten of these games are titles that gamers will still be talking about in another ten years. With that, enjoy the list!

    This seems more of a list of 'most influential games of the last decade', rather than the best.

    Plos no Fallout 3 ='s automatic failure.

      What's it like after playing for a while? I tried Fallout 3 at a net cafe for an hour and just quit because I saw so damn bored. Modern games have that tendency to drag on too long with tuts and cutscenes and whatnot.

        It gets better as it goes along, although it's a very, very long game if you really get into it, and if you don't generally enjoy lengthy games, particuarly ones that are more centered around side-quests and general exploration and such, you probably won't enjoy that much. It's a great game, but it isn't for anyone who can't play a game for a very long time and mantain interest.

    Wow, I was expecting to see Oblivion there to be honest. Resident Evil 4 though, seriously? 4 and 5 have both been garbage imo, the games before that were awesome though of course.

      4 marked a huge change in the series and while it's not exactly horror like the ones before it, it is a critically acclaimed game winning consecutive game of the year awards from different reviewers and game sites.

    Ah, I see a couple of games that would be on my list too. I don't really like having Wii Sports there as number one though. It was a fun game, but there were a dozen even in 2009 that were better.
