Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Could you pull out a top-100 videogames list at the drop of a hat? Nope, we probably couldn't either - and we're supposedly gaming experts (yukyuk) - so it's always good to know that there are plenty of people willing to construct such lists for us. Fervently subjective they may be, but when renowned UK-based mag Edge puts a top-100 together, folks generally take note. Enjoy.
Lists documenting the best games ever are widespread, and the latest comes to our attention courtesy of esteemed UK-based multi-format games magazine Edge.More specifically, the list was assembled by readers of the magazine, "creatives working in the videogame industry" who were approached by the mag¸ and by the magazines own editorial team.

But Great in terms of historically? Then you can have games like zelda and ff7 in there, but they're not that Great anymore... sure, you may think so because of memory from when you played it back then, but have someone today play it for the first time, and they'll be like- what the crap is this ugly piece? Same with Half life 2 Vs. The more evolved FPS now out.
Have to disagree with you about Half-Life 2 though, it easily surpasses most of the more evolved FPS titles of today. Care to name some that eclipse Valve's masterpiece?
I found XII to be very tedious in most parts and it involved a lot of leveling up and aimlessly wandering about. I'll admit that the battle system was quite a nice change though ...
... and Ocarina has came number 1 for years now as well, so no real surprise there either ^^
Now, for some reason I feel that could be biased.
It's impossible to surpass the impact that game had on the gaming world back in 1998.
