Although it may not have been as packed as the first month of 2010, February still provided plenty of great new releases, especially in regards to unique titles from niche genres.

Heavy Rain completely destroyed the whole list. Only good game released this month in my eyes, other than Bioshock.

Feburary didn't have a particular stellar list (except for Bioshock 2 and Heavy Rain).

March looks a lot better: God of War 3, Bad Company 2, Perfect Dark, Final Fantasy XIII, Just Cause 2, that new Sin and Punishment, Resonance of Fate, Yakuza 3, Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Metro 2033, Mega Man 10, Supreme Commander 2, A new Comand and Conquer (with no dedicated servers grrr), Red Steel 2. Plus new DLC for Left 4 Dead 2 (the Passing), Dragon Age (the Awakening expansion), Mass Effect 2 (burning something I've forgotten the name of)...

...So yeah, that's quite a bit of goodness there.

Really looking forward to Perfect Dark (in particular). I think Just Cause 2 could be a bit of a sleeper (looks like the new San Andreas in the dicking around department).

Definitely. I'm reallyyyyyy excited for March. I won't be getting most of the games you listed but I will go for a fair amount right off the bat.

Completely forgot about some of the games on the list. If I only I had more money, right now I can only afford GOW3 and BC2.

    Nobody loves AvP.

March looks much, much better than the line-up we've had so far tbh.

I do I do! Damn game is an addiction. Online is a blast, surprisingly.

Surprisingly? What are you trying to imply good sir?

Online is indeed awesome, and it's incredibly refreshing compared to the rest of the incredibly 'samey' FPS market atm.

Its better than I anticipated. The three species add such diversity to the gameplay. Its incredible.

A little early for a "best games" line-up isn't it? Especially since most games aren't released until Summer/Winter times, which are the biggest areas of where people are out of school/work for holidays etc.

Not to mention most people are busy polishing off past games that were released, hence why I can't give a verdict to any of those games above because I haven't had time to play them at all, however my housemate has informed me that Bioshock 2 is a waste of time and that comes from someone who loved the first one

Yea most of the games aren't coming out for a little while now. We're only 2 months into the year. But the games on that list were pretty good.

I tend to agree with said friend, although I wouldn't go as far as calling it a waste of time. It wasn't bad just not half as good as the original.

Hence why this article is on the best games of FEBRUARY and not best games of 2010.

Point still stands, still a little early. I didn't see a "best games of January" and what's the chance of seeing one for March?

What's next "Best of Xbox 360 in February"?

There were quite a few actually, and there are already a number of 'best upcoming games for March'.

Don't get me wrong, it's just pathetic sites needing traffic and if it were up to me they'd all face a firing squad, but such is internet gaming journalism these days

February was a slow month in my opinion. I'd rather have a wide variety of good games that just a few "awesome" ones.

I quite enjoyed AvP though, I don't know about anyone else.

I'd much rather have a few awesome ones personally, rather than paying $300 for a bunch of decent games I'd prefer to pay $120 for two amazing ones.

And I might have enjoyed AvP. I'm sure actually getting into a game would lead to some sort of orgasmic pleasure that I have yet to enjoy.

No AvP? My favorite game of this month along with Bioshock 2 and Miles Edgeworth =o

AVP and Dante's Inferno. While neither are superb in the graphics dept., they were a lot of fun, and still are a lot of fun, to play.

Dante's Inferno was a good game, but at some parts the action would stop, and restart abruptly.
