Being a Final Fantasy villain isn't all about crazy plots, antagonizing speeches, and having ridiculously long hair and eyelashes (I'm looking at you Sephiroth!). Sometimes they get to kill people too.
Here are Gamesradar's Top 5 Most Murderous Final Fantasy Villains.

Go to the source for the full article.

Yesterday we played goody two shoes and honored the most effective and selfless Final Fantasy heroes in the series’s history. Today, we’re treading the Sith-tinged “fast and easy” path and cuddling up to the franchise’s worst (as in best) villains. Like it or not, they make the story what it is – without their sociopathic antics, we wouldn’t even have a game to play.

As before, we’re only considering the main numbered games. No spin-offs, no sidequels, just the primary series. So, who caused the most pain, killed the most people or ruined the most lives?

Kefka is number 1 on my list.

I would have replaced Vayne with Kuja though.

If we're going by pure kill count, I'd say Sin is probably No 1, at least as much as I know of the other villians.

    What did Kuja do anyway?

Kuja started a world war just because he could and was responsible for an entire race going extinct - aside from three people anyway.

Kefka poisoned a town's water supply also started a war, but he did it for lulz.

With FF VII, Hojo is probably behind more deaths than Sephiroth.

Wasn't Kuja's goal basically something like "I'm going to die anyway, so I might as well take the world with me". I can't remember what he wanted to do before he found that out. Still, he was a pretty big bastard. Moreso than Vayne, imo. (then again, I don't remember much about Vayne besides his pretty, flowing hair. XD)

Pretty much, he found out he was the faulty prototype so he basically went "*bleep* it," and decided to see how many people he could take with him.
