Top 10 Characters that Deserve Their Own Game

This is a list of the top 10 side-characters that deserve (or at least could carry) their very own video game, from gaming website PlanetXbox360.com and includes a couple of classic sidekicks that we all love.

Heroes these days seem to have largely disregarded the notion of sidekicks. It might be the endless taunting that Robin received, or the eternal coolness of uttering that classic “I work alone” line before strolling off into the graceful shadow of the night. That being said, there are still plenty of team players and second fiddles who are deserving of their own game. Villains are all too often neglected as well; they have their own tales to tell and in an age when we love dark heroes and questionable moral character in our protagonists, why not see things from the other side of the line of justice?     I'm interested about how having it focus around Tails would work out. But then again, I suppose the elitist/older fans will still complain it's nothing like the old stuff unless they move back toward that sort of style. Some people would argue the inclusion of Yoshi in the list. Oh... and Han Solo. x3

      Yoshi's Island(Ds version as well), Yoshi's Story, Yoshi's Univeral Gravitation, Yoshi Touch & Go, Yoshi, and Yoshi's cookie.

      I think they got him covered.

    Those all sound like pretty good ideas for games if done right, the only real exception being HK-47. While he's a great supporting character and comic relief, he just doesn't have the depth nor the backstory to fill out an entire game focused on him.

    A Deadpool game would be a day one purchase for me.

    Deadpool's one of those characters who can suck or be awesome depending on the quality of the writing. I love the idea of it, not sure how well it'd work out though, particularly since DP's powers aren't flashy.

      His powers aren't really any less flashy than Wolverine.He has the healing and even though he doesn't have razor sharp claws his swords work probably equally as good as Wolvie's claws.Plus his teleportation power could be a very integral part of the game.

      That plus his humour would make an awesome video game.


      I love using him in X-Men Legends 2 and MUA2.

    Claws that can cut through anything are definitely more flash than swords, and the teleportation isn't a power, it's a gadget

      Well Punisher doesn't have ANY powers and his PS2 game is one of my favourite games of all time

      Twin katanas, guns, teleportation (it may be due to a gadget, but he can still do it xD) and near invulnerability. That's enough, really. Make some kind of mechanic in the game where someone's trying to steal everyone else's powers with some device and Deadpool gets his hand on a part of it somehow, then give him upgrades based on those powers if it's still too simple (E.G. He could get the ability to charge his attacks from Gambit).

      Tbh, I'd happily buy a game that was just Deadpool making jokes for a few hours. x)

    I'd be happy to play a DP game that had him making him good jokes. See my quality of writing post above, some of the Deadpool comics have been shockingly average. Now if they gave it to Rocksteady....

      He has been very hit and miss, but I think Rocksteady are set with Bats for a while xD

      Whoever made Deadpool shoryuken Kitty Pride in order to anger Wolverine can be made head of taking the piss department

    I prefer the moment where DP drops a piano on Wolverine's head, haha. Not to mention where Norman Osborne thinks he's had Deadpool killed, only to be confronted with...
