5 Reasons Girls Can’t Game

Gaming has always been more of a male activity, there are good reasons for that. Females just don’t have what it takes to be gamers. Here are the top 5 reasons why.

Gaming has long been the perfect way to fulfill the competitive nature males are born with. Unlike fighting, sports, races, or shoot-outs, gaming takes a completely unique, non-physical approach to competition. It can be done from the comfort of your couch and usually doesn’t end with a fist in your friend’s eye, unless he’s really good, then how else are you supposed to win? The perfect combination of coordination, skill, knowledge, speed, and reflex makes every minute of gaming unique. Men thrive on the competitive balance video games offer and nothing comes close to delivering the experiences gained from them. Things are changing though.

      I know many girls that play Battlefield Heroes and Bad Company 2 and they destroy the guys. In fact my best battles in Heroes have been with a couple that play together, he was good on foot, she was amazing in a tank and with a rocket launcher

    I know a girl that I used to play GTA with. She's cool..

    I still killed her 2 times out of 3 though XD

    But meh, she just isn't as good as me, but she's far more dedicated (she got a bunch of trophies for GTA IV when I never really bothered, just got one or two)....

    Meh, I've been owned by girls sometimes, sometimes I knew it (or the player's screen named claimed/implied they were a girl anyway), and probably plenty I never knew (gender neutral or male implicit).

    But girls play games, some are good, some are average, and some suck, just like guy gamers XD

    Article was mildly amusing though. Descriptions sound more like bratty kids than a grown person though.
