The 90s saw the introduction of 3D graphics and developers were able to infuse story into their games like they had never been able to before. These opening game cinematics were the top of the 90's, and helped to set the standard for what was to come.

When I first saw this back when it was initially released, I nearly crapped my pants. I remember thinking to myself, "Wow, this is the future of gaming."
