The staff at PlanetXbox360.com looks at the top 10 FIFA Soccer goals (with videos) of all-time, in celebration of the global phenomenon currently taking place known as the FIFA World Cup.

With the 2010 FIFA World Cup in full-swing on televisions around the globe we here at PlanetXbox360.com figured now was a better time than ever to dive into the top 10 goals ever scored in the sport of video game soccer (via an expansive YouTube search). This is something we have always been entertained by as there is nothing better than seeing a real-life soccer player put the ball into the net in the most amazing way imaginable. A couple goals from the 2010 World Cup already stand-out in our minds as having the ability to show people exactly why soccer is the most-popular sport on the planet (for examples watch the USA or Portugal matches). Because EA Sports has been doing a FIFA soccer game for decades now it comes as no surprise that the internet is full of videos claiming to be the "best and most amazing goal ever" - as journalists it was of course our job to do the dirty-work and figure out exactly which ones were good enough to make the top 10 list.

Why is it that America must call football 'soccer' in everything media related to the sport, when they know damn well that they are the only nations out of the other hundreds who use soccer instead of football?

Seriously, it was invented before American Football and it's about 30x more popular so use it's real f'ing name and stop expecting us to follow suit.

In other news, I've seen and scored much better goals than some of these ones.

Let's face it, on casual it's not exactly hard to score a 40 yard screamer

If this had been posted eighteen hours later, I'd have cried, 'compensating.'

There are one or two decent goals there, but I have to agree; there have been better goals than a few of these in the old competitions they ran in gaming mags.
