GameZone's Louis Bedigian explores the best levels and worlds to ever grace the Mario universe from many titles such as Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Bros and many others.

Hands down, these are the two most perfect water worlds ever featured in a game. They have everything: lots of areas to explore (both above and under water), hard-to-find coins and stars, and some interesting objects to climb and maneuver around. The music is also worth noting – it’s so deep and memorable that you’d swear it came from Final Fantasy.

I definitely can agree with a lot of the levels on the list. World 8-4 was always one of my favorite levels in a Mario game even after all of these new games. It just brings back a lot of memories and I find it to be a real fun level even now.

I definately agree with 'most' of the list.

The only ones I have a problem with are my own doing, as I didn't like Galaxy (not intending on playing 2) at all. But I can obviously see/say how awesome that matter galaxy was.

They should have substituted the Boo Mansions from SMW instead of the Bowser stage they chose for SMW... they weren't amazing at all.

Also, where is Big World from SMB3
