HD remakes are slowly becoming a trend for popular games such as God of War, Sly Cooper, and (quite possibly) Shadow of the Colossus. With so many developers reaping the benefits of HD and re-releasing their games with snazzy new graphics, what other titles could benefit from the HD treatment?

What the hell? What a horrendous list.

A). Shadow of Colossus HAS to be the top of this list.
B). I don't want an HD remake of Kingdom Hearts, I want Kingdom Hearts 3!
C). There's a new HD Twisted Metal and Max Payne coming out anyways.
D). That other game isn't good enough to deserve a remake.
E). There are plenty of other games way more deserving *Final Fantasy VII waves*

EDIT: Just saw that SoC was mentioned, which redeems it slightly, but my other points still apply.

The reason SotC isn't a part of the list is due to the rumors regarding that the game may actually be remade in HD down the line, as Sony has already expressed interest in doing that.

In terms of Kingdom Hearts, it's more like the God of War Collection: it's not replacing Kingdome Hearts 3; it's an addition to Kingdom Hearts.

While there are new Max Payne and Twisted Metal games coming out, that doesn't take away the fact that Twisted Metal: Black and Max Payne are two games that have been praised by gamers for years upon years. This is also similar to the God of War Collection idea.

And in terms of Final Fantasy, there are far too many installments in the series to single out one of them for a top 5 list.

Ya, any list without SoC is just not a good list at all. Though a Kingdom Hearts HD remake would be great, I dont want it to occupy SE more than they already are. They still need to make KH3 and a FFVII Remake before they should take on any more side projects.

As stated above, Sony has expressed interest in remaking SotC in HD. This is a list of five games that haven't been considered for HD.

The fact that Resident Evil 2 and 3 aren't on this list disappoints me greatly

This list is not great at all, I know opinions are opinions, but still.

I think those could've been the five worst picks possible.

Ico, Shadow of the Colosus, Vagrant Story, FFVII, Resident Evil 1/2/3 (Think God of War Collection + 1)

Again, ICO and SotC have both been considered for HD by Sony. The list only details games that haven't been considered for HD at all.

Also, the list only covers games from the last generation of gaming, nothing from the 32-bit era. Gameplay mechanics and physics were way more different back then than they are now. Think about the God of War Collection: the only thing they enhanced was the visuals. The gameplay and physics remained unchanged.

PS2 only then just print me out a HD set of Devil May Cry games and I'm golden.

Not the best of lists. But I would love to see an HD remake on the Kingdom Heart games. After the third one being announced of course.

And I would love to see HD remakes of the Twisted Metal games leading up to the release of the new one.

The only one I really think should be in that list is Kingdom Hearts. Twisted Metal, eh, I thought it was fine as it was and doesn't really need a "remake" - but that's just me.

I really don't think any game that's only a generation old needs remaking. Only games from two console generations ago and more should be redone, or at least should take priority of games that are less than 10 years old.

Besides that I really don't think any of the games on the list are at a point where they need remakes yet.
