Who has heard of the Torosaurus? Apparently not these games or spell check. But that's the adult-size of a Triceratops, which scientists now believe are one in the same. Here are five games that thought they were including the Triceratops, even though it never existed.

This week, we found out that everyone’s favorite three-horned dinosaur, Triceratops, was really the similar-looking Torosaurus at an earlier stage of growth...This controversy leads us to reflect on some of the video games containing the dino species, with the developers being so yesterday (literally) and thinking it was the one-and-only Triceratops.

If the torosaurus is a mature triceratops, then wouldn't that make The Land Before Time correct then? Or are they just planning on getting rid of the name 'triceratops' altogether?

If a triceratops is the junvinelle form, how is Tricky not a triceratops? Ouuuh, face!

The name Triceratops was recorded first, so Torosaurus is the one going away. Some museums already struck down the Torosaurus naming from their records in favor of Triceratops.

Aside from that, its just stupid to list games released in the 90's that didn't know about an archaeological discovery that'd occur well over a decade later.

You learn something new everyday, right? No one knew that Velociraptors were 85% bird until just a few years ago.
