Game Podunk DanCurtis writes about how some games have story plots that just doesn't make any sense. Here is a list of 8 games that leaves you wondering....

Often in the Super Mario series Princess Peach will invite Mario to the castle for cake, and is then promptly stolen by Bowser. So many narrative plot-points are never addressed within Mario. Is cake a metaphor for something else? Why does Bowser love pinching Peach so much? Why on earth does Mario actually bother saving her all the time? It's never yet been addressed, and probably never will be. You'd have to think our favourite portly plumber would eventually give up his quest to gain the mythical 'cake' from Peach, but that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon. Mario's plot has been the same for years, and it still hasn't gave us any explanation. I demand to know the intracacies of the Bowser/Mario/Peach love triangle!

You know despite all the talk about the mindscrewing at the end of MGS2, I never really saw what all the fuss was about. It was definitely a message about the player and immersion in video games, but I never found it that confusing.

Raiden runs through a section with an AI malfunctioning, beats up lots of soldiers, kills Metal Gear Rays, kills Solidus, finds out Patriots info was false. Didn't seem that hard to follow for me.
