Game Podunk Blogger, Bggriffiths, has put together a top list of Sony's Playstation 2 top ten treasured and memorable classics! Come read on to see what games are nominated from Grand Theft Auto to Ico....

Often over-looked until now, as Sony have seen fit to give Sly and the gang another chance via a HD re-release of the PS2 trilogy. Something even Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank are yet to receive. This is perhaps the only series on PS2 that started out great and got incredibly better each time, with the third game culminating in a blend of gameplay styles including platforming, stealth, aerial combat, puzzles, open-world environments, racing and more, all wrapped up in a delicious cell-shaded style with an engrossing narrative packed with interesting characters.

I beg to differ with the Precursor Legacy article. I mean, I like it's spot there, but I don't agree with what they say.

I believe that Jak II and 3 were just as good as TPL. As was TLF. They were just...different. That doesn't mean they were bad.

I agree. If anything Jak II and Jak 3 were the real gems of the series. Precursor Legacy was good, but its the sequels which I remember most fondly. Maybe not the Last Frontier though.

Jak 3 is the worst of the original 3.It's a great game but with so much racing, it just wasn't as fun as the first two.

But I love Jak X as it's a racing game so of course there's lots of racing in it.I play platformers for platforming, not driving around in vehicles.
