The following is a list of 25 exceptional single player games. It covers a diverse range of styles and genres but each title offers a worthwhile gaming experience. Each game on this list is either exclusively a solo affair or, in the few cases where a multiplayer mode is present, the single player campaign is the core experience of the game. Games with multiplayer modes are denoted with an asterisk and the list is presented in no particular order.
