Star Wars fans were burned earlier this year when The Force Unleashed II tarnished their view of the series. Fans are still waiting for the day when these five Star Wars titles receive attention once again.

At Spike TV's Video Game Awards last year, fans were already eagerly awaiting the unveiling of a particular game. LucasArts had dropped a bomb by saying that a new Star Wars game would be revealed at the event. The Internet immediately exploded with the possibilities and hopes of fanboys all over the world. So what did we get? Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, and a heaping helping of disappointment. The incredibly short game failed to live up to expectations, and have made fans even more upset that their favorite game series still remain dormant. So the question is, what do Star Wars gamers really want?

I would agree with all of those except Podracer. It really amazes me how many game franchises are going to waste under the Star Wars name. Battlefront 3, KOTOR 3. These are games which are guaranteed to sell like hot cakes, and yet for some reason they are languishing in limbo.

Personally I'm looking forward to a Star Wars: The Force Unleashed III. Yes, the second is short and has a rather poor plot including character development and lack of environments, but if that is all improved in a future title, it'd actually be fantastic. I found the other elements of the second one to be quite enjoyable, the game just isn't great in all aspects. I've got Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and really enjoy both (still replay them every year without fail). And I'd definitely like to see a Battlefront III, as I really like the first and second titles.

Exactly. The Force Unleashed II was far from a poor game; I don't see what so many people have against it. Yes, I was disappointed in the plot's length and substance, but the game itself was incredibly fun and much improved over the first.

Think of TFU:II as kin to the film Serenity. As a standalone thing, it's alright. To fans of the series it originated from, it's a travesty.
