How do you expand on a platforming game that essentially let you create any platforming level your imagination could muster? By removing the label of platformer. LBP 2 is not a platforming game. While the bulk of the main story will be platforming, and so will many of the user-created levels, platforming has suddenly become just one part of the experience. LBP 2 will allow users to create whatever they want. Want to play a driving game reminiscent of Micro Machines? Easy. How about a J-RPG? Go for it. In the Beta, a first person shooter has been created in the style of Wolfenstein 3D (The aptly named Sackenstein 3D).
