New England Game lists off its top five favorite games from 2010. In a year loaded with great games, who do you think will, or should make the top cut?

2010 has come and gone and as usual there have been a bunch of awesome games across the course of the year. New England Gamer wants to share with you five of our favorites, and hope you’ll share your own with a comment or two below!

    eh, not bad, pretty sure they added Infinite Space to just shut up the "add variety" posters. Surprised to see Peace Walker on that list, I enjoyed it, but top 5... not sure it gets into that list or not.

    Must have missed the whole, "These are just the games I enjoyed the most personally" bit at the beginning .

    I actually thought Infinite Space was a really deserving game. It had problems but was nonetheless a really unique outing when a lot of other games and franchises consistently played it safe.

      Everyone loves to bitch if their games aren't on the list or they aren't high enough on the list.They also bitch if they think a game doesn't deserve to be on the list or the game should be lower on the list.

      Everyone seems to think that certain games HAVE to be on a list because THEY think so.

      If people don't like the lists so much, then why don't they make theor one lists?

      There's been many times I disagree with games on lists, but I don't bother complaining because it's all opinion.I mean most people would probably think I'm crazy for having Yakuza 3 as my GOTY.

        yes, but then what is the point of replying if you dont tell post how you feel about the list. I thought my post was very subtle and did not really attack anything.

          Well I wasn't really talking about your post.I mean all the posts we get on lists saying stuff like "this list sucks" or this list is stupid" just because the games aren't to anothers tastes.

          Just because ones tastes may differ to the tastes of the articles writer doesn't make the list stupid.If that was the case then the people calling the list stupid would also be stupid because they are bashing a list based on opinions therefore if an opinion can be stupid then you are stupid for bashing the list.

    ME2 & Red Dead of course but GoW3 at the top? I've only played it for a few minutes & thought it played like the previous two. That's my personal opinion though. I'm not a big fan of the GoW series.
