Sometimes even great games don’t live up to the hype. All the positive previews and hands-on impressions can sometimes hide the fact that, once the game is released, there are some serious issues with the resulting product. It’s a shame, as many of these games might be pretty good, but some core problems mean these game disappoint. The Wii is no different than any other gaming device, and Nintendo has seen it’s fair share of letdowns. Between games to peripherals, the Wii has stumbled along the way to greatness, and here is our list of ten major Wii letdowns.

    Spot-on with the points about Metroid: Other M. It's still slightly above the majority of average games, but it's average none the less. The other Metroid title I own is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and it's simply brilliant.

    I'd have to agree with Brawl. It was a horrible idea to turn the game to just casual gamers. Melee was a very popular game and it still is if you keep up with Smash Brother tournaments. Nintendo should of focused on the competitive side and should of made a better Adventure Mode than they did.

        It was fine when you played it the first time around but it was boring after that
