It’s hard to deny the initial appeal of the Wii. Breaking barriers with a revolutionary motion controller, Nintendo’s flagship device not only returned the company into the minds of gamers after the slumps of the N64 and GameCube, it brought video games into the homes of non-gamers. Between Wii Fit and Wii Sports, plenty have found the joy of gaming over the last four years, but that is selling the system short.
