2010 was a big year in terms of new releases. Questional decided to fire off 10 excellent games of 2010 that you should snap up immediately, before the next onslaught of top-notch titles arrive.

Frankly, 2010 was a pretty big year for gaming. Kinect and the Move opened the door to motion sensitive gaming for Microsoft and Sony respectively (though neither of which are on the list), and we experienced some amazing sequels as well as some brand new titles. We wanted to share what we think you should dash down to your store for if you find it's missing from your collection.

You write a list on your own website and that makes it newsworthy? As the internet folks so often say, GTFO.

Are you being sarcastic? Because I really see no reason why someone couldn't post articles from their website. What's the difference between them doing it and someone else?

It's not like we haven't had tons of lists before.

Sorry to break it to you Bergin, but you do realize the majority of content submitted on here is from the respective owners of the website it came from?

How bout ya keep useless comments like that to yourself kthx

The fact that Mass Effect 2 is absent from this list completely negates any legitimacy this article ever had. Seriously, Mass Effect 2 is better than all ten of these listed games combined, and that is NOT an exaggeration. Granted, I know this list is just one individual's personal opinion, but come on. Have you been living under a rock with only a PSP at hand for the past year? Where is Mass Effect 2? Where is Super Mario Galaxy 2? Where is Heavy Rain? I'd even throw games like Red Dead Redemption and Call of Duty: Black Ops over most of the titles listed here.

Clearly this list isn't for you, why don't you go look at a generic list like this: http://www.gamegrep.com/top_list/39390-top_10_games_of_2010/

OH MY GOD HALO REACH AND BLACK OPS. OMMMGGGG. Enjoy.

Halo Reach = absolute trash. And I'd probably rank Black Ops at #10 if I made a list. My gaming tastes are from from generic and mainstream, try again.

You just don't put "Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game" on a TOP 10 list spanning across all platforms and expect to be taken seriously. Including Alan Wake and Fragile gives you some creditability, but the rest of the choices range from average to laughable (especially your Top 2).

Nope. Could care less what you think bro. I chucked on there what I personally loved, and that's it. I could have made a list of fantastic games across 2010, but I didn't - I made one of the top 10 games I particularly enjoyed. You can disagree with it, but it in no way changes my opinion. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker were absolutely fantastic games IN MY OPINION. This, is my opinion. Take it or leave it, arguing is pointless and futile. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Who gives a damn shit other than people that think people have to have basically the same taste? Lists are opinion.

You know lists don't bother me, it's the people that bitch and say a list sucks because they don't share the same opinion.

There's a difference between, I don't agree with the choices and OMG this lists sucks, wahhh it doesn't have the games I like or the hugely popular games.

I mean what's to say he hasn't played Alan Wake or hell to say that if he has played it, he likes it?

I myself have no interest in a lot of hugely popular games.COD, Bayonetta, inFamous are just some of the highly acclaimed games that I haven't and never will play.

Okay, I don't think the list was complete crap, basically all of the games on that list are good (except Fable 3), though you are missing the main ones like Red Dead, ME2, Starcraft 2 etc.

Also I am totally not a pretentious hipster. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to using my Android Phone and shaking my head at mainstream gaming. Good day sir.

I did mention that I only had space for 10 and that if I had time for more, I would have mentioned more. So I'm not exactly missing games, more that I didn't rank them as being priority. It's also personal opinion, thus I'm listing the games I found to be most enjoyable, and the ones I actually played... in my opinion. But thanks for the nice response, makes a great change. Definitely not doing a list again, I was pretty against it, but curiousity got the better of me lol.

But yeah, while I loved Red Dead Redemption, I wouldn't have classed it as a top game of 2010 imo. Frankly, I enjoyed the standalone Undead Nightmare more XD. But eh, SC2 isn't my type of game, and I haven't played enough ME2 to really say anything great about it - though I loved ME1.

Well, if you loved ME1, you'll love ME2 even more because the game is vastly SUPERIOR in every way. The cast of characters are some of the most memorable video game characters I've ever come across. The storyline rivals such top notch sci-fi movies as Star Wars. The graphics and technical problems are improved and ironed out from ME1. Gameplay (biotics and combat) is improved a thousandfold.

No one should ever make a Top Game list without playing ME1, ME2, and the upcoming ME3. Even if you aren't a huge sci-fi junkie (I'm not) you'll still rank these games up there.

Everyone loves to bitch if their games aren't on the list or they aren't high enough on the list. They also bitch if they think a game doesn't deserve to be on the list or the game should be lower on the list.
Everyone seems to think that certain games HAVE to be on a list because THEY think so.
If people don't like the lists so much, then why don't they make their own lists?
There's been many times I disagree with games on lists, but I don't bother complaining because it's all opinion.

Just because ones tastes may differ to the tastes of the articles writer doesn't make the list stupid. If that was the case then the people calling the list stupid would also be stupid because they are bashing a list based on opinions therefore if an opinion can be stupid then you are stupid for bashing the list.
