Okay, I'm just gonna come out and say it...

...what a *bleep*ing stupid and useless article this is.

No series deserves to die, they just need to be made better. It'd be a much different story if they re-evolved Halo, now wouldn't it?

Oh my god that article made me pretty angry.

Need for Speed? Hot Pursuit is good, Shift is good, so to say the last time it was fun, was when the 360 launches is not only stupid, but also incredibly ignorant.

Rockstar do their best work outside of the GTA franchise? Whatever people say about GTA IV, it was still a really good game. It was a victim of hype. I believe that if GTA had not been so hyped, everybody would recognise it as a superb game, not the 'let down' people think it is.

You call Resident Evil an 'action-horror' game... Sure that was Resi 5, but that was merely a blip in an otherwise stellar gaming series. It just needs to go back to its routes as a survival horror, not destroy the whole series.

People complain about Call of Duty, and I admit, it has stagnated in recent years, but it would be a mistake to kill it. They need to stop releasing it so often.

    And I could continue... But I won't.

I will state the only series that deserved to truly go is Tony Hawk Skateboarding. Activision have tried for years to make a good game in the series and when the last good Tony Hawk game dates back to 2003 you know there are problems. Perhaps Activision could save the franchise if they just accepted that EA found the perfect control scheme, but because they won't Tony Hawk should be the only one to go.

Yeah, and the fact that Tony Hawk hasn't been in a contest for like 8 years.

If they want to throw a name on it you gotta find a new young prodigy otherwise just go the "skate" route. Which is a much better game anyway.
