I don't believe that if you ask every gamer their favorite song in a game, that OWA would rank the highest, and even if it did. so what? That's the ad populom logical fallacy, the amount of people that agree with you has no relevance to the truth. Let's say the majority of the people of the world think that Souja Boy Crank dat is the greatest song ever made, does that make it so? No. So whether people agree with you or not is irrelevant. Plus, like I said, its not a bad song, I just don't think it's as great as people say.

if majority does not matter, than it is simply a matter of opinion for each of us. I am saying OWA should be a top 10 game music of all time because of its popularity. I have not played 3 or 4 of those games listed and I do not like their songs, but their popularity puts them in such a list. So yes, majority opinion/overall popularity does matter.

I never said every gamer, I said people who like to listen to game music (which is actually a small number) and those who have played FFVII absolutely adore OWA.

You made no mention of gamers that listen to game music, you just said gamers. Lets say you did say gamers that listen to game music, I STILL don't think the majority of them would rank OWA as the best OST for a game ever, and even if they did, IT DOESN"T MATTER. This list was not made with popularity in mind, this list looks like a personal list of this guy's top 10 favorite tracks. For *bleep* sake he has Persona 4 music, SMT games are very unknown and not popular at all, so popularity has nothing to do with this guy's list.

Persona games are pretty popular, but again, many people who play Persona type games, actually care about music. Persona is another series with great music, a comment on the other top 10 music list said the same thing. Dont underestimate the Persona series and its popularity.

Do you know how many people try to put Atlus above Square-Enix in terms of RPG, there have been articles on gamegrep about Atlus trying to claim the throne of RPG... gee, I wonder if it is because of the Trauma Center series...

Dude, even most knowledgeable gamers, don't know anything about Atlus. Atlus doesn't get to have TV commercials, or a significant amount of publicity. I am not trying to say it's completely unknown, i am just saying it isn't popular, because it isn't. It has a loyal, but small following (including myself) but it's not very big. Now, since the release of Persona 3, the series got a little more spotlight than usual, I admit that, but it's still fairly unknown.

hey, as long as Persona 5 is on the PS3/360 (though going multiplat seems unlikely, it would not effect much), I will be happy.
