There a dozens of top notch developers out there today, possibily hundreds. But these ten may be the best of the best. They're the ones that get us excited each and every time they release a title.

The types and styles of video gaming, as well as the artistic engineering and narrative builds, have an enormous breadth. We can play innovative games and experience fresh stories to a level that is practically unrivaled in the entertainment world.

    Team Ico should be number one imo. They completely dropped off the radar for me, and I'm so excited for their new installment.

    That list is a little too predictable for me, it's just the 10 biggest titles in development. I would've liked to see one or two amazing games with a lesser budget make the cut, such as Bastion. Although I do love the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.

    I just think it's the article writer's fave list. If it was the top 10 biggest titles in development then Battlefield 3 would be top since it will be this year that it dethrones CoD

    Then again some of those titles I personally wouldn't put up at all, but that's because I either don't have the console any more (PS3) or simply it is not my kind of game

    horrible list. Rockstar North at the top? LOL ok! Rockstar San Diego honestly should have been there instead because RDR was leaps and bounds better than GTA4.

    where is DICE, heck even Rocksteady what with them owning with the Batman games? might also put Blizzard up there for Diablo 3's popularity.

    this is nothing but a list of the author's favorite devs obviously, not which ones are "the best" or whatever.
