Game Daily has put together a small list of the top ten most worst game cover althletes. Some are laughable, some don't make sense and some are just plain stupid. Check out the list and details at the source. Althletes ranges from Nick Collison, John Madden, Ricky Williams and Mike Tyson.

Each year, publishers pick athletes to grace the covers of the latest sports games. Some do an adequate job being a spokesman for that company for years to come, thanks to a squeaky clean record and numerous achievements. Others languish, their covers a reminder of their misdeeds. Some decisions make no sense from the moment they're made.

How did I know Micheal Vick was going to be number 1?

I've never heard of the guy before but I'm assuming he's the one that this article has an image of (can't check because source isn't working as I type this), all I can say is why the hell put an old fat geezer on the cover of a Sports game. Is he a manager or something?

That's John Madden, the guy who the games are named after.

As for their reasons for Vick, the dog fighting thing was very recent. It happened almost 4 years after he was on the cover

The article would have been better with actual images of the covers.

It would have been nicer to see some European athletes included in the list, rather than just American ones, but I can't argue with the notoriety of the people they chose.

Nick Collison? You have got to be kidding me. But I can understand Mike Tyson being on a game cover.
