    I vote all of Manhunt as a disturbance in and of itself. I remember seeing disemboweled corpses hung upside down in an apartment building. Sawing people heads off with piano wire/machetes/meat cleavers and using their head as a distractor. The plastic bag. Pigsey. Your final resolution for "the Director".

    I'm astonished this game wasn't mentioned in any form.

      Pigsey was pretty gnarly. No doubt. I remember the sickle executions, I think it was the yellow level one that always bothered me. Ball pein hammer made me cringe as well.

    I wouldn't call the Mantis fight disturbing.

    There's a moment I read about in Clock Tower which is one reason I never want to play it. That is some tenage girl having her head crushede by the villain.

    Manhunt deffinitely should have been on the list.

      Clocktower 2 is fantastic and yet such a damn scary game. It's basically the epitome of survival horror.

    get the hell over the Modern Warfare 2 No Russian mission. It was not shameless and yes, it had a lot do with the plot. Get off your damn high horse and grow up. Any 17 year old that cant handle it probably has mental problems to begin with. It is people like you that fuel the media into labeling video games as evil to society.

      The level itself was stupid and not needed imo. They could have just showed it in a cutscene, they probably did it for publicity. Any publicity is good publicity. Either way I do agree it was blown out of proportion.

    Forgot to put a 3 at the end. I think it's number 3 that's on PS2? That's the one I didn't want to play.

    I played the 1st one but it wasn't my kind of game so I didn't play much of it.

      I got confused with my game ; ;

      I have Clock Tower 3, it is the one with the guy with the HUGE hammer in it.

      What makes that game more scary is your insanely vulnerable as the girl, you really can't do shit against the ghosts.

    Psycho Mantis wasn't even disturbing imo. #1 shouldn't have been the Pyramid Head rape scene. There are plenty of creepier scenes in SH2.

      lol yeah. Mantis wasnt creepy at all. it was really cool that they took the time to program that in, having him check your memory card to see what youve played. and the part where you put your controller on the floor and he "moves" it? LMAO. i was pretty young when i played the game but even then i knew all they were doing was turning on the vibration.

    I haven't even heard of some of these games, but they do sound like disturbing moments.

    The mission in Modern Warfare 2 was probably the most disturbing encounter I've ever had in a video game. It literally made me sick to my stomach when I had to go through it. The only other one I experienced on that list was the one from Majora's Mask, and it was indeed disturbing.

    I can't see why #1 had to even be put in though. :sick:

    the most disturbing event in all of gaming is the fact that COD has been allowed to go on this long. one of the worst franchises of all time. although it has no doubt had a hand in making Battlefield as awesome as it is today so i guess theres a silver lining on every cloud.
