This is a look at last night's Video Game Awards 2011 show that aired on Spike TV; featuring a ton of first-look trailers and video game announcements. Gaming website PlanetXbox360.com breaks down their favorite 10 moments.

Well, another year, another Video Game Awards show from Spike TV. The network aired the two hour special last night, chock full of celebrities, gaming awards (more of the former than the latter) and several big exclusives. Zachary Levi hosted the show this year, and was surprisingly more effective than last year’s hosting gig by Neil Patrick Harris, thanks to his entry through a Portal and some comical bits that actually weren’t half bad. Even if we’re still trying to figure out who the hell the Black Baron is… Anyway, without further ado, we present our top ten favorite moments from last night’s VGA show. As expected, most of them have to do with big game reveals, but don’t let that stop you from reading them.

Feels like real gamers didn't even bother watching the VGAs due to the fact that it's not really about gaming culture anyway. Seems like most just head to the web to see what the real gaming news was about that surfaced during the show.
