With 2011 drawing to a close, a large number of great titles made their way to the PlayStation 3 over the past year. Wading through the multiplatform games and through the exclusives, here are the top five that stood out.

2011 has been a busy year for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers alike. With a great amount of exclusives being released for the PlayStation 3, narrowing the list down to a top five is quite difficult. Add in some amazing multiplatform games also released this year, and the task is almost impossible. While I had the opportunity to play a lot of great games in 2011, the top five games I feel I must give a nod to are Dead Space 2, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Killzone 3. Unfortunately, creating a list this small will leave a lot of other phenomenal titles in the cold, like Infamous 2, Skyrim, Portal 2, Arkham City and Catherine.
