Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
12 hours 55 mins ago
As the titles proclaims, it is a list compiled of the top 100 games of all time. The list goes back to the dawn of the 8-bit era too December 2006. Did your favorite game make it on there? Click to find out!
We like to hear people scream at us. Unfortunately, it has been a long while since anyone's actually done it. To compensate, the editors of all three IGN Editorial offices (US, UK, and Australia) got together and decided that it was time to revisit one of the most controversial topics in our business...
Our criteria for creating this list of our picks for the Top 100 Games of All Time are as follows:
-Eligible games had to have been released no later than December 31, 2006 (perspective is a good thing)
-A number of factors were taken into consideration when selecting a winner: How good the game was compared to others of its time, its overall game design, how well it stands up over the years, how influential it has been in the realm of gaming and just plain how much fun we had playing it are all points for contention.
-The list is comprised of single, stand-alone titles and doesn't include compilations, expansion packs or add-ons.
-Titles with multiple editions such as collector's boxes, gold editions or direct re-releases have been consolidated into one single entry, with the edition deemed most deserving taking precedence.
-Updated versions of original titles were only included on the list if they were significantly different from their predecessors.

Because we all know that's what'll happen.
I think your the one who needs to keep quite, and stop causing problems.
Har har har.
There are so many games missing from there it's not funny.
They forgot Twilight Princess which should have been AT LEAST in the top 50. it was easily better than Guitar Hero 2. Mario Bros 3 shoulda been WAAAAY up there, not in the 30s. and no Splinter Cell....AND SUPER MARIO RPG: LEGEND OF THE SEVEN STARS,PAPER MARIO and PAPER MARIO 2? Those were some of the greatest games made.
Gotta say that I'm glad to see FFT on there, though.
And I'm tired of seeing people always naming the original Super Mario Bros. as the greatest game of all time. Yeah, it basically set the standard for every video game after it, but come on. There are so many games better then it. (especially Ocarina of Time, which should be #1 imo)
I mean, there are some crap games in their.
All the nostalgic games were cool though, I remember playing loads as a kid, or those too old for me I remember watching my dad play. Some games on the list were older than me though
It was a shame Tomb Raider 2 didn't apear on there, I would of thought it would be in somewhere. Also no Age of Empires. No Crash Bandicoot. I think there was a few titles that got over looked.
