Some of them are totally a given. Resident Evil is such a classic for the scary game, genre! Is there a list of which games were in the video and/or the order?

I wanted to keep it a secret so you can find out by yourselves. No need giving a list.

I thought the surprise number one would be Mario or something . But I've never ever found any game scary. And I hate it when they try to be scary on purpose.

Haha nice, some obvious ones and some were more surprissing, The only game to ever really scare me that much was FEAR, something about the atmosphere of that game had me on edge.

The only scary game i've played is probably Silent Hill. FEAR Was a little scary with that girl and all.

I'm glad Project Zero/Fatal Frame was in there, the game is soaked in atmosphere and doesn't rely on shock tactics. The Doll Maker section of the game is particularly creepy (especially the hanging doll room).

I would love to get my hands on System Shock 2, don't think it's in print in any form anymore, though. A surprise, given the Budget/Classic labels for the PC.

I still think the Silent Hill series is the scariest. Whenever I remember playing Silent Hill 2 (I think), it still sends shivers down my spine.

I haven't played any of those. Mostly because I'm not a big first person shooter fan.

10 was definitely was no surprise, thought it might have placed a bit better though. Also, 8, 6, 3, and 1 weren'a surprise either. 4 wasn't a surprise either, but I didn't really expect it to be on there. ^-^

My computer is too slow to watch it, it would take about an hour for it to fully load...But it'll load, anyway I have a few ideas of what will be on there.

The last one, I wished I had played. A game based on hiding and running rather than fighting? Now there's an adrenaline raiser. Seeing System Shock on there was great, though, the game deserved mention, and once again, seeing Eternal Darkness make it was well deserved too.

In fact, the only ones I didn't agree with was Fatal Frame and Alien Versus Predator, although both are spooky in their own right.

You know, I could never play horror games- heck, Resident Evil 2 gave me nightmares, and after that, I decided I should probably stay away from the horror genre.

But wow... I agree with Mishtram, there's a good way to freak yourself out, especially if you were always that guy in the movies who go, "I could pick a better spot than that!" ... And then you die.

    Interesting list.

I agree with much of the video but for me The Suffering takes the cake.

Glad to see some definitely horrific games on the list like Fatal Frame 2, Silent Hill and of course RE.

What the! D= AVP was not a scary game! annoying, yes. Scary? No. Maybe the movie though, not the cheesy game. XD

How about Alien vs Predator 2? The game had nice graphics and it was a horrifying experience for me. Many times I ended up exiting the game in the middle of something just because it freaked me out. I don't know if I'll feel the same way if I play it now though, probably not.

Hrm, I thought RE would have been number one. RE4 or 2 should have been in there too. I got bored of Silent Hill before I got into it so I can't really compare them.
