Looks pretty good. I'll see other peoples comments (people that will own it) and make my mind up.

I don't know personally... not sure how much it'll retail in the UK if at all... but it's rumoured that they may give those that buy it chance to be part of beta's earlier than those that don't.

I made a thread about this in General PS3, hope you don't mind.

Nah that's fine, it's always been 'first come first served'

I don't know if the subscription would be worth it though, because as much info as is leaked, it'll most likely be known already. The main thing, would be beta testing, and the way the info is presented. That, and MAYBE getting the info first.

Probably a lot of first exlcusive content. Like "First Gameplay Of such game"

How do you access this? PSN or the web?

It'll be via the PSN... not sure how it'll work just yet, but I guess I wont ever find out, with it being US exclusive

but if one person on neo has it then all they have to do is post it and we'll all have it. maybe if its good enough a group of 13 should take turns buying one episode each and then share it with the community at large.

It's cheaper if one person buys it, and the group just pay their share

But no, I don't think they'll be available for download, maybe just for streaming. If it is available for download then people can upload the videos and so on on YouTube

As I've said before, I'm a bit worried about the fact that 'demos' were mentioned. Hopefully it'll just be timed exclusive for the Qore thing.

Ditto with in-game content and stuff....I mean seriously, making it so only those that pay for this service can get the content, is just money out of developer's pockets....

I don't want any sort of exclusivity, I'd rather get the Demo's and play the demos the day it's released online. I don't want to wait a further week or twos time for it.

I don't really see this taking off

Rethinking this though . . . I think it can be seen as a good thing. A way to better ensure that the PSN remains a free service. Releasing subscriptions like this (all being optional of course) could help with that.

Nah, I get that, Sony actually was doing some polling a while ago, about proposing a 'premium' service. Though in that case, it was about paying for an 'unlimited download' limit, on it's content....

What I'm worried about, is some stuff (like demos and stuff) will only be available on Qore....

They can't keep in-game content and stuff, off the regular PSN forever (or else lose a LOT of sales, unless they offer it for free or cheaper on the Qore service, and full price on the regular PSN. And/or offer certain small freebies, like a themed character or something....).

Really? I was wondering if they were going the premium service route, I guess I missed out on it when they did the polling there.

I am wondering how the exclusive demos and such work too. I can see the beta thing. Things like unlockables too. I wonder though about demos if they'll simply be early access. But I think regulard DLC for games, perhaps either be discounted or free, or like you said, small stuff. It'll be interesting to find out. Which we will soon!

I'd probably pay it. $24 or around £12 in real money is not going to be missed much by me over a year... I pay more than that for the Official PlayStation magazine subscription! lol
