Playstation 3 owners are waiting primarily for one thing in the updates - In-game XMB and whilst we have no idea when we'll be getting it (hopes of either the 10th or 18th of June), all we can do is rely on leaked screenshots and videos. Today we have a CLEARER video of the PS3's In-game XMB.

I know looks just.... stunning At least we can see that it's not false and that it's from a Dev Kit... I wonder who bought it and recorded it...

Why does the XMB seem so damn cluttered? I also saw many different icons I don't recognize.

I'll miss the normal menu when you press the PS Button in-game, though.

Its a dev kit. Everything you see there won't be in our version. What would you miss about the existing menu?

It's more like I've gotten used to it, not that I'll miss it.

And dev kit? makes mroe sense. I was wondering why there was all those weird coded icons and everything...

Most of the icons were either debug options or hacks, which if you read in the source article, they clearly say "Please note, we don't condone or advise hacking your PS3 to launch games from SD card."

I wonder if you'll still be able to hold the HOME button, and get the standard black screen with text? You could do all the controller settings and stuff from there as well, and choose to 'turn of system'....Makes sense, yes?

I'm 99% sure you will still be able to. It's identical to the Xbox 360 setup by the looks of things. Pressing the button brings up the Xbox Guide and holding it down gives you the option to power off the controller or the console.

Not entirely true, considering you can't play music or stuff, just see the XMB. And besides, you can only get that XMB when you're on the internet on the PSP.
