A campaign ad video for John McCain uses the same background music as Medal of Honor: European Assault, the first time a video game has been used for a campaign ad! The funny thing about this is Christopher Lennertz, Medal of Honor: European Assault's composer, is a Obama supporter! Hit the link for an explanation from McCain.

Check out the video:

If the background music for a recent McCain campaign commercial (see video) seems familiar, there may be a good reason.

The piece featured is, in fact, from EA's Medal of Honor: European Assault – undoubtedly the first time music from a videogame has been used in such a manner.

As it happens, though, this has caused the game's composer no little chagrin. Christopher Lennertz, an ardent supporter of Barack Obama received many calls and letters regarding the campaign ad.

i read the guys statement, and lol'd at the over-dramatization of the situation.
I'd imagine it's the McCain camp that do things such as finding music and stuff for campaign ads, not McCain.

    who cares.

Exactly, the candidates have enough on their plate to deal with than picking out things like that. Most of the time they're doing this and that and then are told, "Oh, yeah we have an ad shoot tomorrow" and so forth

Of course, that's what I think. I've never been a candidate, so I don't personally know.

How *bleep*ing ironic! The composer is a Obama supporter. McCain should get a better campaigning team.
