There has been quite a bit of worry surrounding Silent Hill: Homecoming. Fans weren't happy that parts of were apparently based off Hostel, the graphics were sub-par, and the game was being handles by a new team.

But this video, showing the first 10 minutes of the game, might be enough to dispell those fears. What do you think? Is it enough to regain the hope that Silent Hill: Homecoming will be a step-up for the series?

i like how they took the idea from the film where everything decays when changing realities, that was a good touch

note. at 8.52, is it me or does the character touch that nurses boob?

While obviously the game's lacking mo-cap that SH2 and SH3 had, I'm liking the dialogue options in the cutscenes. As for the actual gameplay itself, it looks almost linear when it comes to puzzle pieces and stuff like that. The combat is a lot more active...dodging and shit...nice touch actually showing the wounds on the nurses and all.

Story seems kinda rushed so far though, they should've added a bit more dialogue between Josh and Alex...I mean seriously, you don't really carry on a conversation about a toy in the middle of a dark hospital not knowing what the hell is going on.

I strongly questioned the dialogue too. That scene with him and his little brother talking seemed VERY unrealistic. "I left it in my room" "Oh ok I'll go look for your room ." Are they serious?
