Gothic Girl | July 15, 2008 | Video | Playstation 3 XBOX 360 E3 2008
Capcom is on a roll with its E3 Resident Evil 5 news. Here are the newest gameplay videos showing Chris and Sheva working together in a "shanty town" and an "assembly place" ...

Chris and Sheva attempt to survive by working together.

More gratuitous violence as Chris guns down zombies.

There is noooo *bleep*ing way I'm playing this Single player on my first go. If Capcom's past games are relevant, the A.I. has a good chance of being as smart as a rock.

It'd be a decent change from these videos where they look as dumb as Paris Hilton.

I get the feeling that AI-controlled Sheva might annoying as hell. I don't want to hear "Help me! Help!" when I'm busy killing.

Edit: Can someone explain why the hammer dude has man boobs?

I don't know, I thought her AI wasn't too bad.

Actually, when I was at E3 watching people play RE5, she repeatedly covers the first player, even saving his life when he calls for help (you can call for assist). Keep in mind she's not someone you're trying to escort -- she is your ALLY.

Co-op would be a ton more fun than just playing with the AI though, especially if it's with a friend.

It's not THAT bad. Same thing as RE4 when you constantly had to defend Ashely, but even easier since this woman has a gun and can actually fight. And that's keeping in mind RE4 had Gamecube/Ps2 AI as opposed to the 360/PS3 AI we expecting in this game.
