NCSOFT's 3 new IP's trailers released!

NCSOFT have recently released trailers for not 1 but 3 previously unannounced games. These games are titled "Blade and Soul", "Steel Dog" and "Metal Black" and all look very nice. No idea on what platforms they are being released on but considering NCSOFT's deal with Sony chances are 1 or more are bound for the PS3. Blade and Soul appears to be a MMORPG, Steel Dog looks like a reinvention of Twisted Metal and Metal Black gives off the scent of a Daiblo like cooperative loot based action game. Steel Dog looks like utter crap.

Blade and Soul looks like a PC game. I saw another trailer, and it had a scene where you could distinctly see the mouse cursor.

Metal Black look mind-nubingly half-assed and crappy.

So I'm assuming the two crappy games are for PS3, and the one good one is for PC.

Of all the people to make a contract with, Sony made on with these guys...sheesh.

Or they could all be for PS3 and you guys are being overly critical based on 2 minutes of footage for incomplete games.

If Blade and Soul is an MMO as it has been suggested it would have to have a mouse cursor to allow you to use all of your characters abilities. I think that is one of the things that makes programming console MMORPGs rather cumbersome. Somehow either fitting the control scheme to your standard controller. Or forcing a PC style interface on console users that can functionally work with a controller.

Of course they have managed it with FPS to some degree over the years. I suppose they could manage to mangle some sort of melange into a PS3 MMO.
