Dissidia Gameplay Video: Cloud of Darkness vs Onion Knight!

gonzab | August 22, 2008 | Video | Playstation Portable
Gamekyo revealed a video showing a whole battle between Onion Knight and Cloud of Darkness. You can see some of the RPG elements that were said to be featured in the game such as being able to Level Up, change classes in-battle and apparently on special occasions being able to choose an attack from a list that looks familiar to Final Fantasy fans.

Yay, Cloud of Darkness's green form is there.

The gameplay looks good enough. Very Kingdom Heart-ish.

Though I can't say I'm thrilled that they haven't used locations from Final Fantasy games as the backgrounds. The backgrounds are pretty boring.

It does look very Kingdom Hearts, I just hope that you actually have to make button combinations to achieve all those marvelous attacks.

It does because Tetsuya Nomura, the biggest noob at Squeenix is re-designing all of the characters for the game. I think he's doing it to do half of the work for KH3. I'd rather have Amano do more art. It's a anniversary game, so they should have the dude who's been there since the beginning do all the art, instead of Noobmura.

Very nice, it appeared a bit one sided there for a bit but Cloud of Darkness put up a good fight in the end.
