Remember Jo Garcia's response videos to the "Wii Fit Girl"? Well it looks like this game-crazy Playboy model does more than just snowboard and hula hoop - she's back and claims to be a Final Fantasy expert, as she logs each thing she does as she plays in her own gaming journal.

Follow the source link to watch her exclusive interview with PWNorDIE.

"This part two of our interview with Jo Garcia from Playboy's headquarters in Chicago. In this episode she talks Final Fantasy, which seems to be her favorite game, and introduces us to her book, which includes notes on Beijing 2008 and Metal Gear Solid 4."

I don't get this girl. The Wii Fit girl makes a video, then Joe Carcia has to "outdo" it to prove she's a gamer?
Now she makes a video proving she writes down everything she has done in Final Fantasy XII (and "accidentally" mentions she's a MGS4 nut) ... Why? To prove she's a "dork"? (as she calls herself). To appeal to the horny teenage nerds out there who love their Final Fantasy XII and freak-out over girls who play it?

It's cool when celebrities know stuff about games, but damn annoying when they go out of their way to prove it. >_>

(Though I can't see that appealing to Final Fantasy fans much. Gotta laugh at any moron who needs to write down what side-quests they've completed just so they remember not to do the side-quest again. The little trophy you recieve at the end of a side-quest should tip you off that you've already completed it. That, and most side-quests can't be done twice anyway).

And please tell me where there's anything wrong with writing down what you've done on a game or Final Fantasy game? I do that too, its mainly a checklist of what I want to accomplish. Sometimes I forget and need a good reminder. I do on the PC with notepad.

Tbh, I see nothing wrong with what she does. Different strokes for different folks. While I think she's very pretty, I don't see where anyone can feel the need to bash someone for making a video of something. >_>

Who the hell loves Final Fantasy XII?

Despite how FF12 turned out, as a game it was a great game. It just didn't feel like an offline FF game like we come to expect. It felt like a MMO which was the point with some people like me about the game.

Other than those issues I loved FF12, just not for a offline type game.

This was actually posted on Neoseeker in May, so it's pretty old stuff. Otherwise, it's really just so pathetic boys can pretend they have a bond with this woman because she supposedly loves to play video games. It reminds me of this "car model" who was interviewed by some gaming blog because she called herself a gamer. And plays StarCraft. Everyone and their MOTHER has played StarCraft.

Such are examples of why guys continue to pat us on the head like we're not "real gamers."

She's right. I knew about her playing Final Fantasy before Wii fit turned Americans into bigger consumer whores. :/

it was on GameGrep for a while, too. The article was deleted on account of too much sexy.

What she wrote down to me sounds a bit like one of the early Poke'mon, not Final Fantasy's :/

Either way good for her, she games just like we do... Makes her no more special :]

I'm tired of hearing about this girl. It's great that she plays games, but the gaming industry looks like a bunch of total losers if we care. Imagine how much press it would get if she admitted that she watches movies? No one would give two flips.

    Grow up, guys.

      Final Blade Aug 24, 08
How about you grow up a little. You don't like the person fine. But there's no reason to hate someone who plays video games who does something a little different then some gamers. I copy all the accomplishments in games on notepad to keep a checklist of what I've done and what I haven't.

As I said before: "Different Strokes for different folks."

Who said anything about hating her? I didn't even say that I dislike her! It's just that whatever she says isn't news just because she's a hot girl.

I totally agree, they don't need to announce this kind of stuff.

And people don't need to bash her for doing it. Big deal grow up already. I find this interesting and news worthy myself. But yet as I said "Different Strokes for different folks."

Hey, atleast she actually knows what she's talking about. It's not like somebody handed her a controller and she said "what's this?". As a girl, I gotta give her credit--she's hot, and she games. And with a game as huge as FFXII, how can you not make sidenotes? Don't bash her just because she can't remember what section of the Westersand the Steel Carcass Flying Necrohollanuminder appears and when. She gets my stamp of approval--and if you guys knew my hate level, you'd know that was special.

Kinda reminds me when Milla Jovovich tried to pretend like she knew the Resident Evil games in an interview...my god she didn't know her head from her ass in that interview.

Really? That's pretty damn sad. An actress needs to have some knowledge and/or interest in the roots of the work she's doing, otherwise she's just a sellout.
