Microsoft has recently announced Ninja Blade, one of the Xbox 360's newest games in development.

In the game, you'll be facing all different kinds of beasts and demons in Tokyo, as well as laying your eyes on "real-world locations", such as Shinjuku Station.

Check out the Japanese teaser trailer:

Ninja Blade is being developed by From Software and will be released sometime in 2009. You can check out the official website here.

Set in Tokyo and featuring real-world locations (such as Shinjuku Station), players will face all manner of beasts and demons in and around the city, with cinematics and gameplay merging seamlessly, apparently. Lost Planet designer Keiji Nakoka is said to be attached to the project. Hopefully Ninja Blade can live up to the building-running, demon-slashing gameplay shown in the trailer.

To be honest, It looks a lot like Ninja Gaiden. But the wall down the side of that building looked amazing.

Wow. this CERTAINLY IS NOT in any way a complete rip-off of Ninja Gaiden. Same city, same monsters, basically same suit but white. This might as well be the console ripper-offers first big game!

What does it matter, it's for the same console, and if I correctly remember Tecmo is being taken over by Square Enix.
