I still think this movie looks awesome. The number one problem with most game/movies is that the movie never stays true to the games story. That isn't the case with this. They've basically made a movie out of the first game, slightly altered to appeal to movie-goers instead of gamers. I think its gonna be a success, and being I've been a Max Payne fan since the original, I'm stoked to see this.

I think you're right, there. The thing about Max Payne is that the game was made with strong 'movie style' cinematics and structured story telling. In many ways, this could have been a film first, then a game. The strong characterisation that really pushes the game forward could translate to the big screen superbly well - so long as the screenwriter knows what he's doing :-)
