"Super Mario Rescues Princess" cartoon, by Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane

The Family Guy TV series has been known to poke fun at retro video games in the past, and so it makes sense that its creator, Seth MacFarlane, has started a website called Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy, the first episode of which takes a more 'realistic' approach to the Mario series plotline. Check it out.
Burger King presents Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy. New episodes served weekly, starting September 10th.

Correction, Family Guy stuff was epic or awesome. Now they're losing their flair. And this wasn't all that impressive, it sounded like another repetitive joke on Seth's part. And believe me I was once a family guy biggest fan, now its like running out of original stuff to keep everyone entertained.

Though the last bit was mildly funny, it wasn't really epic.

Don't get me wrong, to me it did feel like another family guy clone, some of it was mildly funny. Though, I saw a parody with the real mario and luigi on youtube now that was funny. Mama*bleep*er

Chauctemoc I have to disagree with you there. Family guy to me seems to be losing their edge with funny. I mean Its like King of the Hill, Simpsons and Futurama had. After a point of doing it it just isn't as funny as before. And believe me, im not someone who hasn't watched any family guy. I was once a big Family Guy supporter or close to a fanboy, and I've watched all of the episodes to date but the past ones are the best.

But hey, if you like them all the power to you, but im not enjoying it as I once was. Its just losing its flair and now most of it its some back flash BS or something. Meh.

I thought it was pretty good, and I don't think Family Guy is losing its flair. It seems to be as good as ever to me. Of course I don't watch it all the time.

"And the only help I got was every once in a while a gold star would appear up above me, and I would jump up and touch it. And it would go dundundundundun!"

Lol RabidChinaGirl. I didn't make that part out (poor hearing).

I liked this well enough. I kinda guessed at the ending though >_>

Wonder if they'll have a series of shorts like this as a special, at some point? Or maybe use them as short scenes inside the Family Guide eps like they normally do?
