Celebrating the 20th year of Nintendo Power!

Over in New York City today, there were quite a few people celebrating Nintendo Power's 20th birthday, a monthly magazine that covers anything to do with Nintendo gaming.

Kolma over at GoNintendo has given us a video of the rare and special Pikachu that was given to the goers of the event and also snapped a few pictures, some of which you can check out on the right and bottom.

Our friend Kolma was nice enough to grab us some pictures from the event going on in NYC today, and he also put together a video of the special birthday Pikachu that was being wirelessly dished out.

          Big, I know that obviously I play pokemon for as long as they been out. There's still nothing hugely special about a pikachu knowing surf.

    It knows Surf, has a Light Ball, and the OT is NP. Other than that, nothing.
