Looks like crap. I was reading comments from people over on Kotaku and quite a few of them seemed to have loved it. Seriously? Compare this with the standards in the war genres; Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Brothers in Arms, etc.

I think we're just sick of Uwe Boll period.

  This definately looks like garbage, though a few times the outdoor environments did look pretty impressive, but.. Uwe Boll "must be stopped no matter what the costs..." if I can have some fun with Optimus Prime's line in the animated film.

Looks like a Far Cry rip-off. Far Cry 2 will make this game look as if it DID come out in 1968. Sigh, Uwe Boll- your gay!

  Absolutely right about that, and Far Cry 2 will be a better game (though I love Crytek) than Far Cry 1 for one simple reason (I hope): No late game mutant midget monkey man things

I'll be honest, I didn't think the game looked bad. Generic, yes. Average, yes. But not awful.

...though I do like the idea of playing as a severely burned(?) soldier?
