This is old. Spiderman 2 came out about four years ago.

All lies, all the Spiderman games are rubbish.

Though if this one turns out to be good, hats off to them.

Spiderman 1&2 for the ps1 were quite fun for me in my childhood

It is really when they started doing the movie games that Spider-man started to go downhill. There is so much potential for a great game everytime. They just have to get things right. A good story good combat acation and a compelling reason to keep playing.

Part of the problem was all the repeatative side missions they started putting in the games. They need to either get rid of those completely or make them more interesting and less pervasive. There doesn't need to be a bank robbery by a major crie syndicate every 5 minutes. Something as mundane as a suicidal jumper or a purse snatching or a mugging. Just give me a reason to want to do the side missions. Or even the main missions for that matter.

Web of Shadows at least seems to have the combat system down right. If they can avoid the camera issues and the boring repeatative side quest problems of the past it should be pretty good.

The game looks extremely good. The Black-suited spiderman, is one the best perks in the game, and I hope it's better then how it was in SpiderMan 3. I loved Ultimate SpiderMan For the PS2.

I cannot *bleep*ing wait for "Symbiote-Wolverine"....I think that's *bleep*ing genius and very unexpected.

Also, this has a much darker storyline than previous Spider-Man games or the Spider-Man movies.

I think this will be awesome.
