This week Yahtzee takes on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the Wii and lets just say that he wasn't too impressed with the Wii version. He blames George Lucas. Don't we all.

Jesus. Who approves these articles? Correct punctuation really isn't difficult.

      Please get over yourself.

At most I've missed one comma and one apostrophe.

EDIT: Urh. I can't be bothered. Run with it kid. (Y)

Since you seem to willing to bring up the conversation regarding grammar standards, lets critique yours shall we? A gap between "WHAT" and your "?". Thats not very good sir. Neither is the "NOT" and the !". This is very poor.

Now now. I do not think "are" is appropriate for this context. The sentence does not make sense at all. Next time you try to make a point about poor grammar within someones news article, just remember your far from perfect.

Hypocritical Bitch. Get a grip. My grammar and ethics on this board may be disliked by many, but I do not take false moral highgrounds when others make errors like you do. Pathetic and desperate on your part.

Hm, I do believe "are" would be the correct choice in this situation because it refers back to the "you" subject. This subject to verb relationship is purely implied, however, because the sentence is a grammatical travesty that makes absolutely no sense.

Approval is based on news, not tiny grammatical errors.

    I like the little midget which is George Lucas. ;.;

Shockingly not everyone has perfect grammar, and nor should you expect everyone to have it every time an article gets posted. As long as its understandable to majority then its acceptable.

The oxford weightings system on punctuation and grammar rates such usage of that word in this kind of context a lot lower than "is", in his situation. However yes Rabid, "are" is sufficient. Just adding to my argument.

not that grammar is important. Just being hypocritical about is is silly. Thanks for allowing me the chance to explain my use of "are" in the argument also.

"are" should be used for plurals by the way. Im going to shut up now before I sound like a geeky english nut.

You replied to the wrong comment chain! D:

Actually, I've noticed that rules of grammar aren't always upheld. There's also the issue that the "experts" release new editions year after year explaining minor changes to English. Hey, I personally border on grammar Nazi, but it's only the really blatant mistakes that bother me. Besides, this is a GG article about Zero Punctuation, not his graduate thesis (even if it were, I think many college professors would have trouble agreeing on a universally accepted set of rules to follow).

Also, arguing on the internet is forbidden!

Is the article understandable? Yes? Then who cares about tiny mistakes?

This is gamegrep, not an English class.

Sorry, I was under the impression that GG was trying to be like an actual real life news website!

That would be the site that started GG, Neoseeker, which has writers and editors. GG is a social networking + news site run almost entirely by its user base... hence, there's a lot of content (not all of which is news) to sift through HENCE mistakes will slip through the cracks.

On a more relevant note, I loved this review. It's the funniest he's released in some time now! I can't say I would've given the Wii version much thought myself. He makes it sound so painful that I'm actually rather curious how bad it really is.

I would have gotten this game for my 360 if it weren't for all the other juicy titles coming out in November (well, October for Fable)... D:

I'm sorry as well. I'm sorry that not everyone is as pedantic about GG articles as you, but they're not, so get over it.

To follow RCG's example and actually comment on the article: I liked this one a lot more then his other recent ones as well. I actually found myself laughing hard, which is great, almost as if Yhatzee's got his mojo back

Over 15 articles and only one or two at most discussing the actual content of the review.

Another brillant review, he certainly rips into it and everything which has ever touched it doesn't he?
