Ooh, I suppose it's Europe only..? I was under the impression demos could be downloaded from anywhere though.

Here's what the release says anyway:

SEGA Europe Ltd. proudly announces that the playable demo, featuring 2 playable levels for Valkyria Chronicles, is now live on PlayStation Network. Players will be able to experience for themselves a taste of the incredible CANVAS graphical engine and the exciting action strategy that Valkyria Chronicles offers.

Apparently today as well, but you have to buy it for 3 bucks, unless you have Qore.

I doubt they'd make you pay for a demo...like, EVER.

Anyway, game has promise. I won't buy it since I've got LBP and Pacific Rift maxing out my budget (pathetic, I know, but I'm 15 without a job). So let those who get it, enjoy it!

Bit confused Chautemoc. You have to pay the $3 to get Qore, which includes it.

Meh, people should just make a UK account, and get it that way. Unless they're gettin Qore anyway lol.

Yeah, I played the demo. I liked it well enough actually. Might get this, when it eventually comes on the cheap.

      Nope, doesn't seem like it.

I think you can collect downed enemies. The game doesn't say, but some enemies, when downed, their 'skill medal' thingy breaks, and you can grab their body. No idea if it does anything. Might net you more points in the end (bonus for saving POWs or something).

But Battle fields are what you'd expect. Turn based field tactics.

MIGHT be a traditional bit of RPG gameplay in the non-battle parts of the game, but we don't see that in the demo.

Im not particularly impressed with the game tbh. It just doesn't seem like a type of game im interested in.
